Gene Muzyka

Founder and President

Mr. Muzyka's years of experience in the technology industry includes areas ranging from operations, systems design, intellectual property management, business development, working both domestically and internationally.

Gene began his career with ITT Data Services in 1969 working in operations at their Massachusetts Data Center while attending college.  Since then, he has worked for LTV Aerospace, a US government contractor at NASA's Electronic Research Center in Cambridge, Mass. ASA Incorporated, a management consulting firm, where he was the Data Services Division Manager and a member of the Executive Committee.

In 1980 Muzyka joined Digital Equipment Corporation (DEC) working in Corporate Manufacturing as an MIS Consultant providing operations consulting to DEC's 30 data centers worldwide. During his tenure at Digital, Gene held a series of leadership positions in; Corporate Real Estate and Construction establishing the first Management Information Systems (MIS) group supporting DEC's worldwide real estate holdings. The Personal Computing Systems Group where he held the positions of Engineering Operations Manager, Business Development Manager and manager of the Third Party PC Software Distribution Business. He played a key role in acquiring a leading distribution company which culminated into a profitable 200 million dollar distribution business. Success in the United States lead to expanding into Europe where he was instrumental in establishing the European PC Software Distribution Business. His final position at DEC, before starting his own firm, was Director of Marketing for the newly formed Mobile Software Business group.  

In 1995 Gene left Digital Equipment Corporation and started ARM Associates a technology consulting and service firm. Throughout his professional career he maintained a simple business philosophy, when asked, "Who do you work for?" The answer has always been the same, "I work for the customer".

Mr. Muzyka is active in community organizations. Is a board member of a private foundation and President of a public charity. Also held positions of President and board member of a federal credit union.
